Following the renewing of the path around the bowling green, and extensive landscaping of the green`s embankment, a vigorous green treatment plan, recommended by a local agronomist, as already been implemented, in order to bring the green back to match standard.

All coaching and membership of the bowling club is free of charge to any under the age of 18 years. All equipment is provided, free of charge,

The Green is available for hire at a very competitive price! For corporate hire providing the catering facilities of Florence Sports and Social Club are used on the day, the cost of hiring the green would be free of charge! Also, any bowls, or other equipment required, would be provided free of charge. During the winter months, the club has the use of an indoor mat, and has a team which plays competitive indoor bowls, affiliated to the Short Mat Association.
