The Pit
The wheels have stopped the pits have gone
No more you hear the miners songs
Our village is quiet, nothing is the same
I want to know who is to blame?
Everyone`s faces are sad with no money to spend,
I wonder somtimes where will it end.
written by Richard Allan aged 12
